Amateur Magician

I have always been interested in magic, and I have learned a few decent card, coin, and table tricks over the years. I even developed a few of my own while I was substitute teaching because, every once in a while, teachers would not leave enough material to fill up the class period. On one occasion, a teacher left me no plans on an exam day. It was an hour and a half long class with rowdy, young high schoolers and no structure. Luckily, I brought my cards with me and put on a show for that entire class period.
On occasion, I like to show my friends, family, and even my students a trick because magic is one of those things that still creates wonder and excitement for people who have reached an age where almost everything has been given an explanation. It's one of the few things that can still ignite curiosity in a way that isn't forced, planned, or even expected. Eventually, I hope to post a few videos here to highlight some of my favorite tricks. I might even explain how to do some of them.

    1. I'm sure we'll get around to a trick or two over the course of the semester. I'll even teach your class one of them before we're done :)
